Round two of Nor-Cal Region 11 IKF competition at Prairie City saw great racing and great weather. Different teams showed their muscle competing for the 2005 championships. Davey Mead put a great run together in both Formula 80 Limited and Super Sportsman Heavy with a 3 second lead for the wins. Invader driver Dylan Albiani dominated Jr. Sportsman and Jr. Super Sportsman winning both in convincing fashion.
Great drive for Laura Hayes to control the Formula 80 Jr. Jimmy Greco earned the win in Jr. 1-2 Cycle. The Mooneyham's got the wins in Jr.2 Animal Super Sportsman and 4 Cycle Masters. Thomas Merrill won the Animal Super Sportsman and Cody Kay won the Jr. 1 Animal Super Sportsman. Scribner Plastics, BODYLINE driver Chris Scribner Passed Cory Gwin for the win in Super Sportsman and Glenn McKinnon held off 2004 Champ Mike Slacks in National Cup Masters. Joey Loucks Scored in Jr. Puma as did Peter Coberly in 100cc National Cup. Nick Dunn once again won 125cc National Cup but the move of the weekend came by Gary Gwin when he passed Eric Schutte for the win in Formula 80 Sr. The Competition proved to be fierce this weekend shaping the IKF region 11 Series to provide points battles in all classes. Round 3 takes place at Blue Max Kart Club in Davis CA on April 9-10.
